Docutrax is a service of Risk Toolbox, Inc., a risk technology company building compliance tools since 2009. Docutrax launched in 2014 and is owned and run by senior insurance and risk management professionals. The people who built it still run it today.

The story
The story
Risk Toolbox started in 2009 to bring better technology to risk management. After two years building for the field, the team turned to the problem they knew best: third-party insurance compliance, where a certificate says coverage exists but the policy decides whether it pays. Docutrax launched in 2014 to close that gap, combining licensed insurance expertise with a platform built for the work. Today it manages compliance for more than 2,500 accounts across construction, real estate, public entities, and the brokers, agents, and carriers who work alongside them.

Licensed P&C Account Managers review the certificates, endorsements, and policies, work directly with third parties and their brokers and agents to resolve gaps, and document everything. For the highest-exposure work, CRIS-certified Account Managers read the full policy.
